Psoriasis is a chronic auto immune skin disease which is identified by patches of scaly skin. These skin patches are regularly red, irritated, and layered. They may differ in seriousness from little to extreme, and may be limited or cover the whole body. Injury to the skin can trigger psoriatic skin changes at that spot.
