Not simply in Surat, But FSSAI license is compulsory at all places in India. An individual who is running any kind of Food Business should apply for FSSAI License or Registration. FBO requires a License or registration that depends upon the factors like capacity of production/ handling etc. All the manufacturers, traders, restaurants who are into the food business must obtain a 14-digit registration or a license number which must be printed on food packages.
