CDS Combined Defence Service (CDS) is conducted twice every year by UPSC of India for recruiting eligible candidates and train them to become budding officers in IMA, INA, AFA or OTA. Application for both Male & Female candidates is invited for this exam. A candidate must fall into the mandatory eligibility category for the exam and should clear Written Exam and SSB to get selected in Defence Services. 2. NDA UPSC conducts National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) Exam two times every year. The exam is conducted at the 10+2 stage for eligible male candidates for admission to the National Defence Academy at Tagore town, near Allahabad where they undertake a 3-year precise course of training in a range of arms and physical standards. 3. AFCAT Candidates applying for Technical Post in Ground responsibility Branch needs to give EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) besides with written exam. Candidates have to go during a PABT Test as the first round SSB. 4. Indian Coast Guard Indian Coast Guard is liable for the defence of defensive waters of India. For the choice to the post of Assistant Commandant in Indian Coast Guard, a candidate should be the graduate must fulfil the eligibility criteria for the exam and must succeed the Written Exam & Interview Process.
