A group of human rights activists of various nationalities and regions including Japanese, Indians, Taiwanese, Tibetans, and others staged a demonstration in Tokyo on Sunday to register to protest against Chinese President Xi Jinping for pushing his expansionist agenda and bullying neighboring countries. Holding placards in their hands with anti-China slogans, these activists gathered near the famous Hachiko (dog) statue at Shibuya station in Shibuya, Tokyo on June 28. The press release issued by this group of people who identified themselves as activists of diverse nationalities and regions did not carry the quote of any of them. In what looked like a joint statement by them, the press release said, “This protest has occurred within the context of Chinese President Xi Jinping being criticized around the world for a dictatorial style of working- a trait which is unbecoming of an aspiring world leader.â€
